Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, demyelination, immune mediated illness of the central nervous system (CNS) of unknown pathogenesis characterized by neurological symptoms that depending on the type of MS progression, duration, intensity and specificity of the symptom can lead to partial or complete disability. MS appears in young adults, in the beginning it mainly manifests as an onset of patho-neurological symptoms which gradually completely or partially withdraw. That relapsing/remitting characteristic is the main clinical sign of MS. The inflammatory demyelination damage in the beginning is mainly localized in the white matter of the CNS, even though at the very beginning and especially in the later stages of the disease, axon and neuron damage is present. MS as a disease isn’t a direct cause of a death outcome for the person suffering from it, but it most certainly decreases the quality of life for the patient, as a consequence in certain relaps phases it leads to a critical state of the patients health. There is yet no cure for MS but conventional medicine focuses on treating and alleviating the symptoms brought on by the demyelination damage of the CNS. Therefor, the goal of this paper is to determine the possibilities and effects of kinesitherapy treatment on patients with MS with the usage of numerous kinesitherapy modules whos goal is to reinstitute, preserve or to improve the patients flexibility, endurance, strength, balance and coordination.
