Abstract
Ovaj diplomski rad prikazuje ulogu vratara u suvremenom nogometu, razvoj vratara kroz godine te same činjenice i analize vratara u različitim situacijama i uvjetima. U radu su iznesene činjenice razvoja vratara od samih početaka nogometa pa sve do suvremenih vremena vratara. Prikazuje i uspoređuje se vratare iz prošlosti sa vratarima iz sadašnjosti njihove najveće razlike između ta dva doba i što se najviše promijenilo. Najvažnija stavka ovoga diplomskog rada je uloga vratara u današnjem vremenu, kakav vratar treba biti danas i koje su njegove uloge.
Abstract (english)
This thesis researches the role of the goalkeeper on contemporary football rules, his development throughout the years regarding fact and analysis of the goalkeeper in different situations and condition. This paper shows the fact concerning the development of the role of the goalkeeper from its beginnings to modern times. It`s shows and compares goalkeepers from the past with today goalkeepers as well as their changes throughout the times. The most important fact of this thesis is the role of the goalkeeper in a contemporary time, the main question is what a goalkeeper should be like and what his roles in football are.
