Abstract
Povišen arterijski tlak je globalni javnozdravstveni problem i predstavlja sve veću prijetnju s obzirom da je učestalost ove bolesti u porastu. Hipertenzija u velikoj mjeri doprinosi opterećenju bolesti kao posljedice srčanih oboljenja, moždanog udara, zatajenja bubrega te prijevremenoj smrti i invalidnosti. U području cijele Hrvatske pobol i smrtnost od kardiovaskularnih bolesti u neprestanom su porastu. Smrtnost od kardiovaskularnih bolesti čini 54% od ukupnog mortaliteta, od čega polovica otpada na koronarnu bolest. U ovom radu cilj je prikazati rizične faktore te načine prevencije koronarne bolesti i hipertenzije te na koji način tjelesna aktivnost utječe na ove bolesti.
Abstract (english)
Increased arterial pressure is a global public health problem and is increasingly threatening as the incidence of this disease is increasing. Hypertension greatly contributes the difficulty of an illness as a result of heart disease, stroke, kidney failure and premature death and disability. Cardiovascular diseases and their mortality rates are constantly on the rise in Croatia. Mortality from cardiovascular disease accounts for 54% of total mortality, half of which is coronary heart disease. In this paper the aim is to present risk factors and ways of preventing coronary heart disease and hypertension and how physical activity affects these diseases.
