Abstract
Ruptura odnosno puknuće meniska je jedna od najučestalijih ozljeda koljenog zgloba. Ozljeda nastaje kod djelovanja prekomjerne sile nastale prilikom naglog pokreta u zglobu koljena u kojem se menisk nalazi između tibije i femura. Simptomi ozljede su bol, krepitacija, otežani pokret, oteklina te osjećaj labavosti koljenog zgloba. Uzroci mogu biti akutni (prilikom fizičke aktivnosti) ili kronični (uslijed degenerativnih promjena). Ovisno o dijagnozi liječenje može biti konzervativno (odmor, krioterapija, sredstva protiv boli, fizioterapija) ili kirurški. Rehabilitacijom nastojimo vratiti funkcionalnost koljena nakon rupture. U rehabilitaciji koristimo vježbe za povećanje opsega pokreta (ROM) u koljenom zglobu, vježbe za jačanje mišića, aerobni trening (bicikla, pokretna traka, plivanje, hodanje) i funkcionalni trening.
Abstract (english)
Meniscus rupture is one of the most common injuries to the knee joint. The injury is caused by excessive force caused by a sudden movement in the knee joint, where the meniscus is located between the tibia and the femur. Symptoms of the injury are pain, crepitus, difficulty in movement, swelling and feeling of looseness of the knee joint. The causes can be acute (during physical activity) or chronic (due to degenerative changes). Depending on the diagnosis, treatment can be conservative (rest, cryotherapy, painkillers, physiotherapy) or surgical. With rehabilitation, we try to restore the functionality of the knee after a rupture. In rehabilitation, we use exercises to increase the range of motion (ROM) in the knee joint, exercises to strengthen muscles, aerobic training (bicycle, treadmill, swimming, walking) and functional training.
