Abstract
Cilj ovog rada bio je utvrditi profile vježbača i njihove karakteristike, odnosno navike, tjelesnog vježbanja, razloge dolaska, iskustva i ciljeve polaznika Fitness centra XXL u Osijeku. Ukupan uzorak sačinjavalo je 98 žena i 102 muškarca, polaznika navedenog fitnes centra. Uzorak varijabli prikupljen je zatvorenim strukturiranim upitnikom koji je konstruiran za potrebe ovog rada. Upitnik se sastoji od pitanja kojima su ispitanici odgovarali na upite o općim karakteristikama, konzumiranju cigareta i alkohola, prethodnom sportskom iskustvu i razlozima dolaska u centar. Sam upitnik prikazan je u prilogu rada. Muškarci više konzumiraju prehrambene suplemente od žena i više se bave natjecateljskim sportom. Žene su zabrinutije od muškaraca po pitanju vlastite tjelesne težine, imaju naglašeniji cilj smršaviti, dolaze u fitnes centar radi socijalizacije i kako bi se opustile. Povećanje mišićne mase češći je cilj dolaska u centar kod muškaraca. Rezultati omogućavaju uvid u karakteristike rekreativnih vježbača u Osijeku.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this paper was to determine the profile of the exerciser and their characteristics or habits of physical exercise, the reasons for the arrival, the experience and the goals of Fitness center XXL students in Osijek. The total sample consisted of 98 women and 102 men, attending the fitness center. A sample of variables was collected by a closed structured questionnaire constructed for the purpose of this paper. The questionnaire consists of questions that respondents answered about general characteristics, cigar and alcohol consumption, previous sporting experience and reasons for coming to the center. The questionnaire itself is presented in the appendix. Men more consume nutrition supplements than women, and are more engaged in competitive sports. Women are worried about men with regard to their own body weight, have a more pronounced goal of losing weight to come to the fitness center for socialization and to relax. Increasing muscle mass is more commonly the goal of getting to the center with men. The results enable insight into the characteristics of recreational practitioners in Osijek
