Abstract
Rad istražuje razinu implementacije menadžerskih funkcija i marketinških koncepata u poslovanju fitness centara u Splitsko-dalmatinskoj županiji. Nalazi rada indiciraju da različiti fitness centri različito pristupaju procesu integracije menadžerskih funkcija u poslovanje. Neki od fitness centara kroz funkcije planiranja, organiziranja, vođenja i kontroliranja usmjeravaju sve napore prema tržištu, kreiraju kvalitetne proizvode/usluge i diferenciraju ponudu te kroz kvalitetnu ponudu privlače profitabilne segmente korisnika fitnes centara. Ostali fitnes centri uopće ne primjenjuju menadžerska i marketinška znanja i vještine, ili ih primjenjuju u vrlo ograničenoj mjeri.
Abstract (english)
This paper explores the level of implementation of manager functions and marketing concepts in the operation of fitness centers in Split-Dalmatia County. The findings indicate that different fitness centers have various approaches to integrating manager functions into business. Some fitness centers direct all efforts towards the market through functions of planning, organizing, leading and controlling, create quality products / services, differentiate the offer, and attract profitable segments of fitness center users through high-quality offer. Other fitness centers do not apply management or marketing knowledge or skills at all, or apply them to a very limited extent.
